LiftTrack - How it works
Untitled Document

1. The operator inserts his key at the inspection station and the
appropriate inspection form is displayed on the screen.

2. An inspection takes less than 15 seconds and no paperwork.

3. If there are items that fail the inspection the operator simply touches
the “repair” button and continues with the inspection.

4. There are certain other items that because of safety concerns indicate
the trucks should not be operated until they are repaired. These “RED
TAG” items inform the operator that the unit must be repaired before it is
operated. In fact, the vehicle is “locked up” and made inoperable.
Only Supervisors and Technicians are allowed to operate the vehicle

5. A “RED TAG” notification can also be sent via e-mail to designated
individuals.

6. Once all the inspection items have been inspected and passed, the
operators’ key is released and is ready to start up that particular unit.

7. As the forklift unit is used during a shift, a variety of information is
being recorded. At shift change or end of the day, the information is then
downloaded and sent to our central analysis center.

8. Also, while collecting this information, the LiftTrack Data Collector is
monitoring any impacts that may occur as well as voltage fluctuations in
the lift truck.
